What Cardwork Calm asks you to do

Cardwork Calm is a timed number-selection game. Find 1 among the sixteen visible cards, select it, then find 2. Continue through 16 before the round timer reaches zero. Each correct selection removes its card, so the board becomes easier to scan as you progress.

Choose it if you want a short visual-search task with a mouse or touchscreen. The suit symbols decorate the cards; you do not build suit piles, draw from a deck or manage reserve slots in this version.

What a round asks you to do

Rule	What it means while playing
Numbers 1–16	Select the next number, rather than the nearest card or matching suit.
120-second round timer	Use the Time counter above the board to judge how much playing time remains.
60 points per correct card	Clearing all sixteen produces 960 points. A successful click also reduces Remaining by one.
Five wrong selections end the round	The board shows your next number and current errors, such as “Find 3 · 1/5 errors.”
Empty space and cleared cards do nothing	A tap outside an uncleared card is not a way to advance the round.

There are two rows of eight cards. The numbers are shuffled across those positions. A card’s position or suit does not tell you whether it is next.

Start your first round

Read the instructions, then select Start game and wait for the countdown.
Find the card marked 1. Click or tap it once; its disappearance, Score 60 and Remaining 15 confirm that the input counted.
Read the next requested number at the top of the board. Scan both rows before selecting it.
Continue with separate clicks or taps. Holding and dragging across cards does not select additional cards.
After selecting 16, check for Run complete, Score 960 and Remaining 0. If time expires or you make a fifth wrong selection, use Play again to start another round.

Use Pause before stepping away and Resume when ready. Pause stops the round countdown. The music button changes sound, rather than the selection rules.

When something goes wrong

What you see	What to check	What to do next
A card disappears and Remaining falls	That number was accepted.	Find the newly requested number.
The board flashes and the error count rises	You selected an uncleared card that was not next.	Re-read Find before making another selection.
A tap produces no change	You may have tapped empty space, a cleared card or a paused board.	Resume if needed; tap inside the next numbered card.
Dragging selects only one card	Selection happens on the initial press, not as you move over other cards.	Release and tap the next card separately.
Numbers are difficult to distinguish on your phone	Sixteen cards are fitted into a narrow screen.	Avoid guessing. Try a larger screen if the digits remain hard to read.
Try another run appears	The time limit or five-error limit ended this attempt.	Restart and focus on finding the next number accurately.

A useful practice goal

On your next attempt, aim to clear the first four numbers without an error. Score 240 and Remaining 12 confirm that checkpoint. Scan both rows in a consistent direction and verify the next number before clicking. Once those four selections feel comfortable, extend the same approach through 8 and then 16.

The suits do not require separate strategies. This version has a single ascending sequence and a fixed time limit; there is no evidence of progressively harder levels within the round.
