About the game
Layer rhythmic loops and grow a garden that learns to play itself.
Loop Garden blends a rhythm toy with a light idle system. Strike four orbit rings on beat, unlock self-playing loops, and shape a generative garden whose plants respond to the patterns you compose.
It is the gentlest game in the catalogue and the only one with no failure state. A missed beat costs progress on that ring and nothing else — there is no run to lose, so the pressure it creates is entirely self-imposed. That makes it unusually good as a first game for someone who does not play games.
The idle layer is small and deliberate. Once a ring is accurate enough it plays itself, which frees your attention for the next ring rather than accumulating a number. By the fourth ring you are conducting rather than performing, and the garden's growth is a readout of the pattern you built rather than a score.
Because the rings are on different periods, the composition drifts in and out of alignment on its own. Most players stop and listen at least once, which is the intended outcome.
How to play
Tap a ring with keys 1 to 4, or click or tap the ring itself, at the moment its pulse crosses the top marker.
Accurate hits grow the plants attached to that ring and eventually automate it, so it keeps playing without you. Complete all four living rings to finish the composition.
There is no failure state and no timer — a missed beat only slows that one ring. Automate the slowest ring first rather than the easiest: the four rings run on different periods, and a self-playing slow ring gives you a stable reference to time the others against.
