About the game

Switch lanes at impossible speed and survive the city’s shifting neon divide.

Neon Divide is a score-chasing reflex game built around clean reads and split-second lane changes. Thread the luminous craft through alternating barriers, collect energy, and hold the line as the city accelerates.

What separates it from most endless runners is that the barriers are readable before they are reachable. Violet and cyan gates resolve far enough ahead that a good run feels like a decision every half second rather than a reaction every half second — and when a run ends, you almost always know which read you got wrong. The three-shield buffer exists for that reason: one mistake is information, not a reset.

Speed steps up every twenty seconds, and the step is deliberately audible as well as visible. Most players plateau somewhere around the fourth increase, where the lane spacing stops giving you time to correct after committing. Getting past it is less about faster hands than about choosing a lane earlier and trusting it.

It suits short sessions and keyboard players, and it runs on the same three-lane grammar on a phone — swiping between lanes loses none of the timing.

How to play

Move between three lanes with the arrow keys, A and D, or by swiping. Collect green energy to raise your score multiplier and avoid violet or cyan barriers.

Speed increases every twenty seconds. You carry three shields; each barrier contact removes one, and losing all three ends the run.

Energy collected in consecutive lanes is worth more than the same amount gathered while weaving, so a stable line usually scores higher than a busy one. Commit to a lane early rather than correcting late — after the fourth speed increase there is no longer room to change your mind mid-gap.
