Timed challenge collection

Timed Browser Challenges: Survive the Clock or Beat It

The clock does not mean the same thing in every game. Feral Circuit rewards staying alive until it expires; the other five require a goal before the deadline.

One survival clock; five completion deadlines

In Feral Circuit, reaching zero with at least one core is the survival objective. In Signal Bloom, Zero Cartographer, Comet Kitchen, Chrome Rally and Glass Harbor, zero ends an unfinished attempt. A large score does not replace the required nodes, anomalies, orders, distance or deliveries.

The starting budgets are 45–90 seconds of game time. Instructions, the startup countdown, pauses and retries add to the time you spend on the page. This collection therefore does not promise a successful visit in under two minutes.

Read both the clock and the progress counter

Feral Circuit

Survive tracking enemies until the countdown ends.

Input
Hold arrows or lowercase w/a/s/d to move. Space uses a phase dash at 100% charge.
Starting budget and ending
45 seconds: keep at least one of three cores until zero. Losing all cores ends the attempt early.

Signal Bloom

Finish a connected network before the deadline, respecting range and signal cost.

Input
Select an active branch and an inactive node; Z or Backspace undoes the latest link.
Starting budget and ending
70 seconds: activate all twelve nodes from 100 signal. Undo refunds cost, not time.

Zero Cartographer

Stabilize and chart hidden anomalies before time runs out.

Input
Mouse: position, wait, click. Touch: hold or drag, stabilize, release.
Starting budget and ending
62 seconds: chart eight anomalies. An unstable confirmation costs four seconds and resets combo.

Comet Kitchen

Remember symbol sequences and serve the orders in the correct sequence.

Input
Keys 1–4 or symbol buttons during SERVE. R replays the order once at a score cost.
Starting budget and ending
70 seconds: serve ten orders before three errors. Memorizing and replaying still use time; a wrong symbol resets the current input.

Chrome Rally

Steer along the road to finish the distance while protecting BODY.

Input
Left/Right or lowercase a/d; pointer position can set a steering target.
Starting budget and ending
72 seconds: reach 1,200 distance units over three laps. BODY reaching zero can end the run before the clock does.

Glass Harbor

Deliver waiting boats to matching open ports while tracking individual lifetimes.

Input
Select a waiting boat, then its matching port; a storm can temporarily block a destination.
Starting budget and ending
90 seconds: deliver fifteen boats before five timeouts. Each waiting boat has twelve seconds; a wrong port removes 2.5 seconds from that boat.

Some mistakes use time directly; others create an early failure

Zero Cartographer removes four seconds from the main clock for an unstable confirmation. Glass Harbor's wrong-port attempt removes 2.5 seconds from the selected boat's lifetime, not directly from the main 90-second clock. The boat may still be delivered before it expires.

Comet Kitchen counts a wrong symbol toward its three-error limit and clears the current order input. Chrome Rally loses BODY while off the road. Feral Circuit loses cores after enemy contact. These can end a run while time remains.

Signal Bloom rejects an out-of-range or unaffordable link without activating the target. Selecting a closer active branch can solve the problem; repeating the rejected action only spends time. Undo reverses the latest successful link's cost and activation, not the clock.

I survived until zero, but the result was not a win

Survival until zero is Feral Circuit's goal. The other five need their completion target before zero. Check the progress counter for the game you opened.

My harbor clock still looks healthy, but the run ended

Five waiting-boat timeouts end Glass Harbor early. Check LOST and each boat's lifetime, not only the main clock. A boat with little time left may need attention first if its matching port is open.

Replaying or undoing did not return the seconds I spent

Comet Kitchen's replay reveals the current order again at a score cost, while its clock continues. Signal Bloom's undo refunds signal and reverses the link. Neither rewinds game time.

I need time to read the rules during an attempt

Use Pause before reading or stepping away; Resume continues the same run. Reloading or starting again begins a fresh attempt. A stored personal best does not save unfinished progress.

Checked 13 October 2026 against the six current native runtimes and the normal input checks recorded for this review. The listed clocks are starting budgets, not measured average completion times. Complete runs were not verified for every game and device. Other language introductions remain in their own review queue.
