Choose the system you want to manage: connect nodes within a signal budget or dispatch waiting boats to matching harbours. Learn what changes after one decision and how to recover.

A connection budget or a queue of waiting boats

Signal Bloom: connect within range and budget

Goal and clock
Activate all twelve nodes within 70 seconds. One node is already active at the start, with SIGNAL at 100.
Your decision
Select an active node, then an inactive node nearby. A new link must be shorter than 205 in-game distance units and affordable from the remaining signal budget. Each successful link changes the selected node to its destination.
Cost and recovery
Link cost is the distance divided by 16, rounded up. A shorter route generally leaves more budget for later links. Backspace or Z undoes the most recent link, refunds its cost and removes its score gain; the countdown is not rewound.

Glass Harbor: dispatch by colour before a boat expires

Goal and clock
Complete fifteen arrivals within 90 seconds. Five expired waiting boats end the attempt. Selecting a destination is not yet an arrival: CARGO increases after the boat reaches its harbour.
Your decision
Select a waiting boat, then the harbour with the matching colour. Compare the coloured harbour markers, not just the boat's white selection highlight. Watch the shrinking waiting-time ring.
Cost and recovery
A wrong harbour removes 2.5 seconds from that boat's remaining wait and clears your selection. Select it again and correct the destination. Storm warnings can lead to one harbour closing for six seconds; an × marks the closed harbour.

These are small rule-driven games, not real network engineering or harbour-management models. They do not provide a business forecast, staffing calculation or a real-world operating plan. Other catalogue themes below need their own mechanics checked before their descriptions can be used as instructions.

Start with a reversible link or one completed delivery

  1. Signal Bloom: identify the selected active node and its reach circle. Choose one inactive node clearly inside the circle, then inspect GOAL and SIGNAL together.
  2. Use Z once to undo that newest link. Check that the destination becomes inactive again and the budget returns. Choose an active branch point before connecting a different target; clicking an active node selects it without creating another link.
  3. Glass Harbor: wait for a boat, select it, then select its matching open harbour. Watch the boat travel and wait for CARGO to increase before counting it as served.
  4. Before selecting the next boat, inspect waiting rings and the storm indicator. Use Pause before stepping away; both systems have active countdowns.

A rejected action and a failed round are different states

Signal Bloom says OUT OF RANGE

The chosen inactive node is too far from the currently selected active node. Select another active node closer to it, then try the connection. The visible reach circle helps compare choices; repeatedly choosing the same distant target does not shorten the link.

Signal Bloom says LOW SIGNAL

The link cost exceeds the remaining budget. Look for a shorter connection or undo the latest expensive link. An undo changes the network and score, so inspect which node is selected afterward. More points do not purchase signal.

I clicked a matching harbour but CARGO did not increase

Check whether the boat is travelling. A correct dispatch is counted when it reaches the harbour. If HARBOR CLOSED appeared, the destination is blocked and the boat is still waiting; serve another open destination while monitoring that boat's remaining time.

Glass Harbor shows WRONG HARBOR or VESSEL TIMED OUT

After a wrong destination, reselect the boat and match the colour. A wrong click costs waiting time but is not itself an immediate LOST increment; a boat that actually expires increases LOST. Change your next selection based on urgency rather than repeatedly clicking a closed or wrong harbour.

Checked 13 October 2026 against the current Signal Bloom definition and the later active Glass Harbor override. The two systems have different budgets, clocks and recovery actions. This explanation is not a claim that every game in the simulation catalogue has been individually played or reviewed as a realistic model.
